I crave a cozy, intimate place like this. I miss Albuquerque! New Mexico has a vibe and this restaurant meets it. Thank you! Definitely returning on a regular basis.

We've been wanting to try El Coyote for a while now, and got the opportunity during a lunch date with our son. The place was cute and cozy - not busy at noon on a weekday so we were seated right away. We didn't have much time so we ordered everything at once. My husband ordered the special taco of the day, which was a pork based one and we both ordered the Camerones taco. I also wanted to try the rib tip appetizer. For our son we got the quesadilla. The portion size is amazing. Lots of food for the price. However, I just felt like even though everything LOOKED flavorful, it was missing that umph. The camarones tacos were the most flavorful. My husband wasn't impressed by the special of the day and I was very underwhelmed by the rib tip app. The meat was fall off the bone but it just didn't hit in flavor the way it looks like it should. However, for the price, portions, and ambience I think this place is worth the tr

As someone that used to live in Santa Fe, this takes me back The ambience of the kiva fireplace, the viga ceiling and the corbels tie in the Santa Fe architecture. Now let's talk food! Be prepared for heat, it's not for the faint of heart! My go to is always the stacked blue corn chicken enchiladas served with red and green chili sauce and the refreshing pickled garnishment. I have never liked posole but theirs is delicious. Their queso, and multiple salsas are quite tasty as well as their guacamole. This time we tried the chicken nachos, you could easily do them ad a meal by themselves. My husband likes El Coyote because they are one of the few places that gives you sides with a burrito. Their margarita list gives you plenty of choices!

Fantastic food, great service. Got the fajitas and the birria tacos and they did not disappoint! Will definitely be back soon!

The warm, welcoming atmosphere is lovely. The staff (especially Corey) is amazing. The food is the closest I've come to New Mexican food.... More trendy, but good. And not Tex-Mex.

Food is so yummy! I'm from ABQ and this is the closest I've found to New Mexican food in Oklahoma. Loved the stuffed sopapilla with red/green chile!

I really liked this New Mexico style Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is so authentic to New Mexico and the food was delicious! I tried the chicken nachos and hubby got the birria tacos with blue corn tortillas. We both loved the flavor of our dishes so much. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. We were a party of 4 and walked right in. I do believe they prefer reservations and we got lucky getting in so quickly as we saw a few groups get told there was a long wait. We had a great time though!

This was a welcomed surprise! This was not our destination, but it's where we ended up. Service was great! We spend a lot of time in New Mexico and this reminded me so much of that. It was like going into someone's home. Bright and welcoming in the first room, then you step into the next room where the bar is and it's a little darker. Much like the settings in where you're eating in a church or an old home. We loved it! Our party of four each ordered different menu items and they were all delicious!

This place was very good. I will say it looks like more of a Cantina with more towards beverages. I wish they had a little more food variety to choose from but the food that they do have was really good. Great quality the inside needs to have a little more lighting so you can read the menu, the nachos were excellent flavor was wonderful. Filled with a lot of harmony and pork and the tips were excellent. I will be going back. It was a nice little place to find.
